11-13-05, 03:19 PM Alright im relatively new to D&D and i wanted to make a ring of dimension door 3 times a day.
from what ive read it would be command word so spell lvl*caster lvl*1800.

4*4*1800 = 28800 market price. but how do i put in the 3 charges a day. is that divide by3 or divide by 5 and divide by 3? Im completely confused

11-13-05, 03:51 PM Divide by (5 divided by number of activations per day) or to simplify the math, take the base market price, multiply by the number of activations per day and divide the total by 5.

So, in your case that's 28,800 * 3 / 5 = 17,280 gp.

It can be confusing.

Divide by (5 divided by charges per day)

so 5/3= 1.66

28, 000 divided by 1.66= 16877.4669
Round down the decimal: 16, 877 gp.
