I want to make a cart that when you open the back doors you step into a leomund's secure shelter or bigger because I want it to be my workshop for my artificer. Like a permanent, movable hidden lodge from SC would be great.

Secure shelter is a 4th level spell.
4 x 7 x 1800 (assuming command word activated) = 50,400

It is in a limited location, so it might be worth a 25% reduction in price. Depends on your DM.

A cart that's bigger on the inside than on the outside? Sounds like a realy big extradimensional space to me. Pricing should be based on the portable hole with a discount for being quite a bit less portable.

How much extra space do you need? Leomund's secure shelter is 20 foot square. Coincidentally, my father is a woodworker and his workshop is 20 foot square also.

A cart (PHB) is a small two wheeled vehicle - about 5 foot on a side. A wagon is a larger 4 wheeled vehicle, probably what you want, and doesn't seem to have a listed size. The larger wagon you put this workshop in, the smaller the extradimensional space can be, and the cheaper the item will be.

edit: After thinking it over a bit, 20,000gp sounds fair to me. A 20x20 extradimensional room is a lot bigger than a portable hole, but it's also a lot less portable.

The fact that it is less portable really is not that big a deal. The magic and the use is really to transport a lot of stuff without having to hold the weight.

A Portable hole costs 20,000 for 10x6 ft diameter. (Volume of 280 cubic feet.

Add in the size of the original cart of 125 cubic feet (5x5x5), for a total of 405

But a room for a human sized person needs to be bigger than 5ft tall. 8 ft is pretty standard.

A 10x10x8 = 800 cubic feet, which is approximately double the volume of a portable hole.

I think that is reasonable for 20,000 gp. I would not allow 20x20x8

P.S. Leomund is the wrong spell. It does not increase area, it simply provides walls and comfort.

Note, I am working on a spell to do something similar to this. I will post it shortly.

I just want a space that is big enough for a workshop for my artificer. Like a little bigger than shelter size, but like the mansion would be sweet depending on price.
