ninja1 10-25-05, 02:20 PM	Hi all, To elaborate on the thread title a bit: The Planar Binding family of spells can call Elementals or Outsiders. What about creatures that have the Outsider type only due to a Template? As an example, could I use Planar Binding to call a Half Celestial Human? Thanks in advance, ninja1
cwslyclgh 10-25-05, 02:31 PM	I would probably not allow it to be used in that manner... my reasoning is that the spell specifically says that it lures a creature from another plane... and most half-x outsiders are native and not extraplanar... in this regard I also would not allow it to call tieflings, aasimar, NPC's with the perfect self class ability, etc.. I wouldn't have an objection to it being used to summon outsiders with templates, as long as they had the (extraplanar) subtype.
