12-21-04, 02:01 PM Hello could somebody help me with this intellagent item i'm new at DMing and i don't know if this is acceptable.

Bone widlers couldren

hardness 8 hp 20

when hit it casts fireball on itself

imune to fire

when touched it creates a random templated creature like below

2d6
first die

1-2 skeliton

3 multi-headed (2 heads)

4-6 zombie

2nd die

1-2 kobold

3 demon

4-6 ogre

int-10 ego-8 charisma-8 wis-20

1. What is the Intelligence and Wisdom and Charisma and Ego?

2. Your "templated creatures" don't really seem to be very templated except the skeleton and the zombie. What is the rationale?

3. Who controls the created creatures?

4. Why would anyone hit it?

5. What determines "the direction from which it was hit"?

6. What is a "widler"?

7. Can we have a description?

12-21-04, 04:23 PM You wouldn't really need to make it intelligent.

Immune to Fire; when dealt damage, cast Fireball centered on itself (so 20 feet around it, and if thats not enough, have it cast a Widened Fireball) at some caster level and summon a creature as per Summon Undead # or Summon Monster # (evil aligned only) or something.

Depending on what level your players are at, you may want to tweak the HP of the cauldron.

6.one that carves ruins into someting (it's a job i made up for npc's)

A black couldren with the rim covered in a black paste the body is made of black skulls pasted together with the paste on the rim with skeliton arms and fingers coming out of the bindings
