| Anssearch06-02-06, 04:54 PM | Hey, got a little problem: We got an encounter called Frostwyrm or something like that. He uses a freezing breathweapon. I thought of counter those strong attack with my cone of fire. my DM thinks its not based on teh counterspell rule like used in the Player hand book on page 178 (german version), because breathweapon is a super Natural ability. Now i need your knowledge. Base is : Encounter : Breathweapon (cold) Cone Counterspell : Cone of fire (fire) Cone Hope u answer soon though we might go on with right rule for this. Thx Before Anssearch |

I could see a rule where if you readied an action then any one caught in both areas would do the following: Subtract the cold damage from the fire damage. If net value is negative, everyone in both areas takes that much cold damage, if positive, everyone in both areas takes that much fire damage. |
