Counterspell: a simple solution. [Archive] - Wizards Community

This spell functions just like the counterspell aspect of Dispell Magic, save that you may only add a maximum of +5 to your dispell check.

What do you think? It's a nice, simple way to add the aspect of counterspelling to your game without the entire fuss of having exact spells prepaired in order to counterspell.

Seriously, I think it should be second or third level, because you can cast this at any time.
