My friend tells me he can't GM the Eberron MoH game this weekend at the store where we run our RPGA campaigns. No problem, I tell him, I'll GM it.

Who knew what I was getting into. Right now, I have less than a week to burn through this 38 page monster of a module. It's an all right module, mind you, and most of the areas described are really for flavor, so it won't take me very long to run. However, I still have to read through it all! If you are considering downloading this module, give yourself some time to read it, because it's a monster of a read.

Thanks for the info !! 38 pages that is something !!

I have the habit of reading twice every adventure I dm... So it's nice to know in advance that I will need more preparing time for this one.

The adventure is from Keith Baker, no wonder it's so long with a lot of flavor text. He really has this setting at heart and I'm very grateful for that !

Don't let the length deter you. I ran this one five times at GenCon. It is one of the quickest to run modules I have ever seen. It plays well, the players enjoyed it, and depending on the choices they make they can finish in a little over two and a half hours. Of the five groups, only one took longer than 3 hours 15 minutes.

38 pages, bah, that's nothing. :)

Living Death modules are routinely that long...they have tons of background information and handouts, which all leads to (a) a very rich module, but (b) a high page-count. 40+ pages for a one-round module isn't uncommon at all.
