Spell casting services are listed with prices in the Player's Handbook, and the campaign standards state that anything from the Player's Handbook can be bought, so assuming a player had enough EV can he buy spellcasting services prior to the adventure, and start the game with a particular spell already on him? I'm talking specifically about having a spell such as enlarge person combined with a permanency spell so that every game you begin as a large creature. Would this be treated as two consumable items, or is it just a normal cost item because its permanent?

I would appreciate anyone's opinion regarding this matter. Thanks

edit: oops lol i cut and pasted the wrong thing. fixed now

Intriguing question. The only mention I could about spellcasting services was the changes to raise spells. Spells from items cost 5 times as much. I would treat the service as the same. Our item, in this case, is an NPC caster. Even for PERM.
