Does anyone know when the updated standards are due to be released?

I really want to play my other Warforged Ranger.

Probably about the same time that the 3rd & 4th Regular Adventures along with the missing April & May DM's Marks are released.

Unfortunately, I guess that the Mark of Heroes Campaign is simply dead before it even got going.

The march DM's mark went into april to play and thus thats why a April DMs mark didn't come out. i will ask to make sure this is the case though on monday. as to when the next campaign standards come out i'll ask that as well.

I've heard that some DMs have deliberately gone out of their way to sabotage the Eberron game by modding it brutally and downgrading reports on all their players, to try to force the campaign to die and send people back to LG or Green Regent. I'm half-inclined to believe it, considering how horribly cheated both of my groups got in the first two modules.

It really disappoints me to hear about DM's trying to sabotage campaigns or the like. A similar incident happened in a yahoo group last week where a DM went on a two-paragraph rant on "Arcanis: at least it's not Greyhawk". I really wonder why it's not enough for people to simply not play a campaign they don't like. Are some people's lives so unfulfilled that they have to explicitly criticize campaigns that other players clearly enjoy? In my opinion, that kind of thing ruins the fun for everyone. And I'm not referring to jabs like I heard at my first con, where the director asked everyone for Greyhawk to muster on one side of the room and for "real gamers" to muster on the other. I'm referring to honest efforts to destroy the credibility of and other people's enjoyment of RPGA campaigns simply because that one individual doesn't enjoy them.

If that was the case then why didn't they call it the April DM's Mark or the March/April DM's Mark and just admit that they forgot about it or something. I know that there was more than a few cons and gamedays that were trying to host Mark of Heroes games that had April DM's Marks on their schedules but had to cancel them due to the unresponsiveness of RPGA HQ.

Also, please check on the status of the 3rd and 4th regular adventures. The 5th and 6th are supposed to be playable at Origins next month.

Can we also get an update on a schedule for future modules, and perhaps a public apology from SRM?

Can we also get an update on running DM's Mark adventures and then eating the mod, despite assurances in the Eberron FAQ that you don't eat DM's Mark mods?

I find it hard to belive anyone would try to deliberately try to sabotage MoH at the moment. I had a blast with the first two mods, but overall the campaign seems to be doing a pretty good job of sabotaging itself.

Man, this bites...I cancelled my regular Eberron game to run MoH, and if this is the treatment it's gonna get...

I'm normally not receptive to conspiracy theories, but considering the way everything but Legacy of the Green Regent and Living Greyhawk get treated, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the grognards at the top like kicking the new campaign settings down.

can we please get back to my question at hand.

Can one of the moderators or someone at RPGA, please give us an update on when the new Campaign Standards will be released.

Thank you

I can give you the official answer now.

The new standards will be coming out soon. hopefully by the end of the month. this goes for the 3rd module as well and the DM's mark too.

Look for all this to come out by the end of the month.

also the 4th module will be out in june then the others come out at Origins.

They are really swamped right now with all things.

Thank you for the patience!

Thanks for the reply. It's nice to finally get some info out of someone.

I am more than a little confused by the response, however. You cited one mod as coming out by the end of May (hopefully), another in June, and the the two for Origins. I think it's fairly common knowledge that there will be a level bump by Origins (lest nobody be able to play the mods, even those who have played every other MoH mod to date. Any idea which mods will be released before the bump and which ones after? It seems like the upcoming mods are going to be available for a painfully short time period (if the May mod is written for levels 1-3 like the others it's probably not going to scale past the level bump), happen after the level bump (which would have to be relatively soon), or be scalable before and after the level bump from around 1-6 (which has never been done before in D&D Campaigns, as far as I know).

Any idea how all of this is going to be dealt with? I just can't see a good solution to any of this.

Thank you Tim.

It seemed like everyone was getting a bit off topic.
