Not sure if this is the place for the post but I have just been looking at registering my default character online for MoH gencon. It only lets you specify a single class, anyone know if you can register a multiclass character?

The other thing is

http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ebop/welcome

specifies 5000gps base equip value but the cash progression only adds upto 4500gps. + starting charcter cash. Which is it ? as per progression sheet or as per link.

The single class is the characters starting class at Level One.
Additional class levels are not tracked online.

For gold, the 5000gp is the characters Web Tracking EV at 4th level. You also have your starting gold + craft/prof bonus which adds to that to give you your Total Maximum Equipment Value. So 5000+class starting+Profession/Crafting = total gold you have to spend

If you're looking at page 10, Table CS-6 Level Gold Piece Limit, of the Campaign standards, this is the character gold piece limit for any single piece of equipment. Reread the 'Equipping Characters' section. It describes the limits on items (specifically regarding limited and restricted items) and is what Table CS-6 refers to.

The level bump is to 4th level if you are starting a new character, so any single item you purchase should be 2700gp or less. The nice part is that this conveniently fits in a nice +1 weapon or armor for most characters, unless you like lots of assorted smaller magic items.
