So I, like many others in the Mark of Heroes Camapign, am playing an Artificer character. One of the strongest parts of playing this class is it's ability to support the rest of the part with magic items. Now, I was in a game last week and someone told me that my Artificer having scrolls of Repair Light Damage was illegal according to the Mark of Heroes campaign rules since that specific scroll isn't listed in the DMG. I looked through the MoH Campaign Standards and couldn't find anything in regards to this issue. I contacted the individual again to see if they could point me to the page number or section and was told that the specific rule wasn't in the first few releases of the campaign standards but would show up in a few weeks in CS 2.0. They then gave me a page number in the Legacy of the Green Regent CS 3.0 that does say just that.

Now, I now that both Mark of Heroes and Legacy of the Green Regent are D&D Campaigns but are the rules considered to be interchangable like that?

I had throught that in order to scribe a scroll of a spell from a secondary source I'd have to place that spell on my expansion list. If it is correct that scrolls, potions, and wands have to come from the DMG then Warforged in the campaign can't ever have a potion of Repair [blank] Damage, right? Not to mention never being able to scribe a scroll of Orb of Acid.

Thoughts from anyone?

Well, the spell exist in ECS so I allowed it in my game in potion and scroll form. The contrary would be very stupid in my opinion, so I hope I'm not wrong in my ruling. :)

ya as of now dont look to do that as you'll have to wait until the 2.0 standards (before gencon indy is my guess). do not look to other standards either as of now
