In other words, the only person who "eats" a DM's Mark adventure is the adventure designer. It's been mentioned a couple times that this is flat out false. At the moment running a DM's Mark game does preclude you from playing in another DM's Mark game. I've emailed rpgasanctioning and filled out Play History Error forms, but I haven't gotten any response (but I haven't gotten any reponse from the RPGA on a couple outstanding issues, so I'm getting the impression they've been flat-out ignoring me. So, it seems like there's no chance of me getting the gold/exp from the mod I played in. The funny bit is that I recieved a story object as part of the mod. What happens with that? Supposedly, my character never played in the mod. It doesn't show up on my Character Tracking. I did, however, legally play the mod (as per the bit in the FAQ above). What am I supposed to be doing here? The best solution would be to get the system to operate the way they say it does (but doesn't), but that doesn't seem likely at this point. Is the Story Object valid? Either way, can we get the info on DM's Marks updated? Andrew Beard |
