| PatEllis1506-28-05, 09:37 PM | Help! OK, I'm really keep to get into the MoH, but I will have NO opportunity to do anything until GenCon. I've preregistered for XMH-2 Fallen of Sharn. I signed up because I wanted to participate in an event where I wouldn't need to have a prexisting character (I hadn't heard that some LG events would have fastplay characters at the time...), nor where there was a possible commitment for multiple events (the open...). SO: Fastplay Characters: The only ones I see are all first level. I here rumor's of a "Bump". Can someone explain this to me? Will all the downloadable characters reflect the new level, or will I still have to spend time to "level up" the 1st level fastplay guys... I've just passed the Herald level test, but obviously don't have a card yet. Do I need to register a fastplay leveled up character?! If I do have time to craft a character, can I pick a level (Fallen of Sharn calls for levels 4-6....)? Will there literally be fastplay characters "waiting" for me at GenCon ready to go? Help a noob! They do tend to have copies of the fast plays at the RPGA HQ all set and ready to go during marshalling (splitting into groups to play). If you have time to make one, make it first then level it up with the bump. The other living campaign's standards have you make a character and then advance it to the campaign bumped starting level and they say how much gp/credits you have to outfit them (based on level). You do not need to register a character first, exp earned will go to the "default" character slot. You should register it eventually though, especially if you plan to play it again in the future. |

If you want to create a new one just follow the guidelines in the MoH Campaign Standart document. ¿How sure I'm about this? Not much :D I'm too far from any GenCon right now... Take a look to the MoH web site to check this. |
