| Ishorn03-14-05, 12:49 PM | I really want to play MoH now but I have a family, small budget, and limited time. This means that I can not travel to or afford a Con. Why can we not have the Modules now for game days? The reason I am complaining is because there are individuals on the forums posting all the details about the adventures that were run at Gen Con So Cal and Winter Fantasy. I am the type of person who likes to open their presents on Christmas day and go into adventures without any information before hand. |
| Wavester03-14-05, 04:02 PM | So do not read their posts with spoilers in it. Problem fixed. Nobody likes to wait but not liking something is not reason to change it. |
| Ishorn03-14-05, 04:42 PM | The problem is there is no notice that something is a spoiler in these posts. So I guess problem not fixed. Also what is the reasoning for the long wait. |
| Wavester03-15-05, 08:46 AM | It goes to conventions and retail, then a month later it goes to gamedays, then a month after that to home games. Two months once mods start rolling out on a regular basis is not the end of the world. If mods just went straight to you playing it at home then the social aspect of cons/gamedays would not be that necessary anymore and frankly I like that part almost as much as actually playing the games. People are always going to post stuff about mods. Nothing that can really be done about that and changing dates may decrease it a little but it is not going to make it go away. You just need to know what lists to read and moderators of those lists need to smack those that cannot follow the no-spoiler rules. |
| AnonyCon.com03-31-05, 10:40 PM | Any idea what the release schedule looks like for Mark of Heroes? I've not heard much about how many modules we can expect per year, and at what rate. |
| grahamdrew03-31-05, 10:44 PM | Keep in mind that EMH1 is available for retail play, and has been for a while. See if there are any local gaming store where you can set up a game and you're a go. The DM's Mark mods are also available now for any type of play. Andrew Beard |
| Thorn Soma04-16-05, 01:33 AM | I did a gameday last mounth in Ocala! How can I update my D&D charaters Gold and Exp if the sytem whould not let me enter him till today? |
| grahamdrew04-16-05, 08:38 PM | The first mod you play should apply to your Default Character, which should be blank if you hadn't logged into the online tracking system. From there you can edit the character (select race, class and all that) and keep the gold/exp total from the first mod. The tracking really only comes into play after the first mod when you start printing out proof that your character has existing gold or is above campaign level. Andrew Beard |
