For MoH, can I purchase a shard and use it, presuming I had it implanted for me, or must the using PC have the requirements?

Nothing official, but here's how i'd rule at a table. If I purchase the shard, the vendor would inplant it for me. However, if I crafted it with CUI, i'd need the 10 ranks in heal to put it in myself.

08-04-06, 05:59 PM Well that's kind of what I was getting at. In MoH we don't really craft anything ourselves, we just get a discount. Psion/Egoist is the only psionic class that has Heal as a class skill; if we can't buy a shard and have it implanted for us, then no other class can use a shard until at least 17th level (when they could legally have 10 ranks in the Heal skill), regardless of how inexpensive that particular shard is...
