I just ran Finding the Way, and I have some problems with it, as it pertains to miniatures.

In both of the MoH advntures i have run the minis asked for either come from the hard to get harbinger set or are rares form other sets. I have a decent collection, but having multiple rare figs can be troubling.

Secondly, in FtW, the miniatures listed are all for an option encounter and the final encounter. Other encounters have miniatures, and none are asked for. Had I not purchased minis the day of the game, I would have been without.

Please keep the rares to a minimum and list all possible figs.

I don't worry about the rare miniatures. I use what I have if I don't have the specified one (indeed, if I have one more appropriate, I'll use it instead of the recommended one).

I do agree about the list in the book. I ran the 4th adventure and discovered that it not only failed to mention a number of miniatures you might need, it failed to mention the very first encounter (annoying since I had that miniature, but was on a "list and pull" for the miniatures).

I just got back from running it for my group about 20 minutes ago, and noticed the same thing. It's even worse as there is a perfect mini for the first encounter in the new set. Thankfully I had pulled one the day before, but it just speaks to the sloppy editing of D&D Campaigns modules. If you want a good laugh check out how they refer to the Hall of Messengers in Wroat.
