The two are only available on january 2006 for homeplay but what surprised me the most is that EMH-8 is only worth 1 point ! I hope that's a mistake and not a new thrend... I expect EMH-5 and EMH-6 to be available during october and november for homeplay. I sure hope that there will be a DM'S Mark for each of those month too. I hunger for more... :D We did "EMH-4 Finding the Way" yesterday night. The next one is "EMH-3 No ticket" and won't be available until september... One long month of waiting for me and my players... Unless there is an August DM's mark. I sure hope so !! :) |
| Herrbard07-28-05, 06:15 PM | Umm... Isn't there always a DM's mark every month? |
| TimRat07-28-05, 07:34 PM | Yes there should be a DM's mark every month. There will be an august one i can assure you. The reason why 7 and 8 are not available till december of this year is b/c of the extended premiere schedule of all gencon indy modules. |

It was a mistake !! :) It's been corrected !! |
| ajpopp08-25-05, 10:13 PM | Speaking of new adventures, any clue when EMH-5 and -6 are coming out? And DM's Marks for August (too late, I guess) and September? I love MoH and I want to play more (well, I wasn't crazy about Finding the Way, except I got my favorite story object yet!). |

Maybe you have to download a 5 minute looping blizzard sound effect to really get the most out of it. ;) |

Maybe you have to download a 5 minute looping blizzard sound effect to really get the most out of it. ;) Well, since it's out of circulation, I guess I can comment on the adventure. I agree with you about the atmospheric elements--those were cool. However, the scenario was almost entirely combat-oriented, unlike earlier adventures. The few (and I mean very few) skill checks I made were worthless--whether I succeeded or not had absolutely no bearing on the adventure. I played a wizard with skills and utility spells, and adequate combat ability. But skills and non-combat spells were worthless. That and the illogic of the last encounter... I enjoy adventures with a mix of encounters, and Finding the Way was a showcase for our barbarian and psion's combat skills. Add that to the main reason I don't care for Living Greyhawk--the need to power-game. If MoH turns into that (like LotGR seems to), then I'll lose interest. (Interesting how the fast-play characters are far from power-gamed. I wonder how one of them can actively participate in an adventure and survive.) Now, I do play a dwarf, but I don't want to sound grumpy. I love MoH and our DM is great! I just didn't enjoy this last scenario. But I'm desperately hoping they come out with some new adventures to play, and soon! |
