Long answer which explains this...... Others might have more exact answers but I think this is accurate: Items in MoH are either Unlimited, Limited, Locked, Restricted or Unlocked. Unlimited items are anything from the PHB, Chapter 6 of the Eberron Campaign Setting plus alchemical silver, cold iron and darkwood from the DMG. You can buy as much and as many of these as you can afford. Limited items are most of the magical items listed in the DMG Chapter 7 and the Eberron Campaign Setting Chapter 10. You can purchase as many of them as you like so long as the cost of each one is no more than the GP limit listed on page 10 of the Mark of Heroes Campaign Standards. At level 7 this is 9,500gp Locked items are items found in other approved MoH sources. They need to be placed on your expansion list before you can use them. You have one slot on your expansion list for each level except first. You cannot re-tool your expansion list and the level 5 (and 10, 15 and 20) slots are special. Read the MoH Campaign Standards carefully when creating your expansion list. You also have to abide by the gold piece limit restrictions when purchasing items you have unlocked Restricted items are ones which are not allowed in the campaign unless you have a D&D Campaign Card or other official source telling you otherwise. These are specifically listed in the Campaign Standards. Hope that helps - and isn't too much information! |
