araelethe 07-18-05, 11:28 PM	Questions Regarding Level Kicks and GenCon Indy Events Mark of Heroes questions I have reserved a spot at a few of GenCon Indy’s Mark of Heroes games and I have a couple of question that I am hoping my companions in the RPGA could assist me with. I do not have a gaming group and the Gaming shoppe in my area does not host RPGA events due to a lack of interest. GenCon will be my only opportunity to play Dungeons and Dragons in a certified manner of play and it is one of the primary reasons that I am attending the event this year, aside from “Secrets of Eberron.” I am an RPGA member and have prepared characters which I have registered on the RPGA site. Unfortunately, my characters have not been able to advance past 0 xps due to lack of development. Regarding level bumps: I have created first level characters but realize that the characters will be far too weak to complete in the adventures that I have signed up for. I also understand that this is the reason for the level kick feature of the Mark of Heroes campaign. Here are my questions (finally); How do I perform a level kick? Do I simply prepare the character at the appropriate level? I can see that I am to print a character sheet that is “time-sensitive” and bring that with me. Do I fill that sheet out with the level progression completed? Will the RPGA site provide me with a level kick? How do players learn about the release or fulfillment of the level kick? TimRat 07-21-05, 09:14 PM	Hello there! ya you just level up your character to 4th and away you go. there will be a post on the RPGA website about this bump so you will be aware of it and how much gold you get. like you said print out the sheet as well.

grey-knight 08-16-05, 08:40 PM	When prexactly will the level kick happen, I have a group of players trying to figure out if there previously 1st and 2nd level characters are about to suddenly be fourth level characters. Is there going to be a revision of the campaign standards document? so many questions so much help I need... :confused:

This is from the RPGA site at Wizards.com The level kick at Gen Con Indy, August 2005, sets the campaign at 4th level with a starting equip value of 5,000 gp.
