This question was asked on the discussion board of a UK convention where I might be running an MoH game so could do with an answer:

"I have 'Off Beaten Path' reward card, to unlock Warmage class. DO I have access to all the spells on Warmage list, (including Fist & Hail of Stone spells), or do I 'unlock' them as I go up levels?"

Thanks for any replies :D

I took the cue from their answers to the kalashtar psionics question regarding psi skills in the CPH (they get them "free" as part of their class - no expansion listing needed for it).

Also, the warmage class description, which is the part "unlocked" by the card specifically states she learns the vast majority of her skills as an apprentice. ;)

So, my DM and I run my warmage with all the basic CA warmage spells, as well as the CA feats specifically handed out to warmages as class abilities without adding every single spell to my expansion list.

For other feats from CA or if I take one of my bonus evocation spells from an expanded source it will have to go on my expansion list though.

I'm not saying this is official, it's NOT, it just feels right based on their other answers and keeping the class playable.

yup the above poster is right. the feats granted to you by leveling up in the class are yours and you dont needd to write them down on the expansion slot. the spells that are for warmages out of the complete arcane (only) are yours as well.

now if you want a feat or spell from another book for your warmage then that needs to go on teh list.

this is official :)
