But seriously, what do you really want to know ? Characters and races are supposed to be balanced. So it supposed to be as good as any other class or race !!

I'm not much help but I'm not sure either what is the point of your question and the relation with this forum... :confused:

07-19-05, 05:48 PM yes they are good. because not only can they take and deal massive damage but they're versatile, because they can be ranged or melee combatants. i would know because i'm playing one right now.

07-26-05, 03:46 AM Dwarf are very tough to battle, they make excelent fighters and barbarians, when you have a caster party (most of the characters are wizards, clerics, bard, etc) You should include at least one dwarf fighter to enter in close combat with the monsters meanwhile the partners power up the dwarf and attack by range with powerfull spells (like fireball).

The real advantage of the dwarf is their resistance to some mental spells, they darkvision and the bonus to their Hit points provided by their usually high constitution.
