| Greyson05-25-05, 11:48 PM | DM's Mark adventures are Mark of Heroes scenarios written by campaign members at-large. Meaning, anyone can design and run his or her own adventure within the guidelines Mark of Heroes campaign. You write a DM's Mark adventure by ordering the special DM's Mark scenario through the RPGA Event Ordering Database. You select DM's Mark and you download the month's guidelines. The download contains basic advice on how to compose the adventure; spreading ELs, major campaign story arcs, etc. You also get instructions for event reporting, and a selection of special story objects that you can use in your particular adventure. Consider all of this information, and write your adventure. It is messed up now, because you (as a player) can only play in one DM's Mark adventure a month. A DM/Author can run his or her adventure for as many tables he or she can muster in the month. Right now, I think that if you write a DM's Mark and judge it, you burn it, and you cannot play in another one that month. It is all messed up. I hope I am wrong about this last bit. This is my understanding of the DM's Mark. I hope this helps. Happy gaming. |
