Winter Fantasy New Guy questions: [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-16-06, 12:50 PM I have been an RPGA member for a while, but have not been involved in seerval years. Anyhow, I signed up for Winter Fantasy- and I got two Greyhawk events and one Eberron. So I need an Ebberron guy.

Ok, so what I am hearing is:

1) there's going to be a level kick? Does that mean I should wait and find out what level to make the character?

2) Lets say I don't worry about the Level kick until WF next week. I still need to make a 4th level character. Can I multiclass within the boundaries allowed by the campaign document? I kinda want to play a human sorcerer 2/fighter 2. Cool or not cool?

I really want to play a goblin, but I have no campaign cards. As I said, I haven't been active in the RPGA for several years ( I do have a RPGA number though, and I recently got signed on to the rewards program). Is there any way for me to still get that card?

3) Is it smarter to not make the character before I arrive?

02-16-06, 03:47 PM I'll answer some of your questions.

the goblin card. some on hand at the con may have this card ask around.

the level kick. its 7th level the gold i'm not sure about. it will be announced a day or two before the con maybe tomorrow.

the multiclass thing is that i in the last campaign standards i believe it said you ahd to stay within a certain range. the new standards come out this week this may be in there.

02-17-06, 01:39 PM Awesome, thanks. I have a mostly finished human Sorc 5/ftr 2. I'm hoping she'll eventually get into the Knights Phantom.
