When you report the adventure as played, you will answer the questions that are at the back of the DMH2 document online. Based on your answers to those question, the characters you reported as being played will recieve experiance and gold through the database system. You will never actually see any experiance totals anywhere for you character. Just current level. Thus for the DM's Mark Adventures, you are told to follow the guidlines from the DMG to make appropriate encounters for the level of play. As well as, provided a fair amount of opportunity for treasure. I believe the system will just look at the APL of the characters and assume you gave them the right amount of challenge. And would than award experiance and gold by how well the PCs acomplished their objectives (based on the questions you answered). Hope that helps. |
