| Callista09-03-07, 05:13 PM | I think I'm going to be scared of my cat now. He has a +2 for higher ground, too.... http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i309/Callista450/Tiny/fluffy006.jpg |
| Einvaldurinn_mikli09-03-07, 05:26 PM | Commoner 1 are we? |
| tryco09-03-07, 05:29 PM | i don't want to ruin the joke, but ... i think the cat is yawning. but nice cat anyway. and good luck with the sociology course (if i'm reading the book right upside down :P). |
| Callista09-03-07, 05:49 PM | (Heh. Yes, that's my cat, Tiny, and yes, he's yawning; it just looks fierce. I wanted to get a few pics of him sleeping on my D&D books, and woke him up accidentally.) This is the way he looks when he's not stalking Steve... http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i309/Callista450/Tiny/fluffy001.jpg I've heard the sociology class is easy but boring... your good wishes will be needed to stay awake! |
| Xiuhcoatl09-03-07, 10:21 PM | I'll see your cat's high ground... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v492/obrysii/100_0787.jpg ...and raise you psionic powers. |
| Salla09-03-07, 10:46 PM | http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa279/LolaBonne/killcommoner.jpg |
| UnrelentingHoror09-04-07, 12:08 AM | OMG that cat is soo cute, it looks just like one I used to have:P Also about sociology, unless you have a really.... really bad teacher its not boreing, its actually one of my fav subjects.:D Also, not to be nitpicky here but wouldn't the wide variety of skills and knowledges necissary to be a college student make you an expert rather than a commoner? Makeing you just a little bit more able to take on fluffy.;) |
| tryco09-04-07, 02:24 PM | so ... when we're young we become mid-level experts (depending on the highed(sp?) of the college), and when we're adults we drop to first level commoner. i think my sanity dropped. great, a thread called "...Fluffy?", and we're talking about college.:D |
| InkBlot09-04-07, 03:39 PM | Honestly, how did this thread last so long without this? http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x149/Gnomick/FKNPA4GN3SPGTVXQTWUU7WRWP7T5T6BF.jpg |
| tryco09-04-07, 05:02 PM | now we have sleepy, sweety, fluffy ... who's next.:P |

| Xiuhcoatl09-04-07, 09:04 PM | Another of my clearly Awakened (and psionic) kitty... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v492/obrysii/DONOTWANT.jpg |
| Callista09-04-07, 10:04 PM | Haha! That's priceless! Must've caught him on a bad fur day! Yeah, college students probably do qualify as Experts. Considering that 33% of Americans go to college for at least 3 years, that would seem to be about right, to have about 2/3 commoners, about 1/3 experts, and a small percentage of aristocrats and PC classes... You start out as Expert 1 upon graduation from high school, and let's say one level of Expert for every 3 years of education above high school? And then, if you stay and work in that field, I guess you'd gain more Expert levels, depending on how many challenges you overcame... Anyway, that would make me Expert 2 or 3, which sounds about right. Guess I have a pretty good shot against Fluffy after all! :) And having a CON of around 14 probably helps, too--I haven't had a cold in about four or five years, two of which were spent living in a college dorm! Yeah, Fluffy's doomed, pretty much. I can probably Grapple him, pin him, and clip his claws! That is, if he doesn't have psionics... ...which he probably does... *hides* |
| Xiuhcoatl09-04-07, 10:13 PM | Haha! That's priceless! Must've caught him on a bad fur day! She wasn't happy with me. For some reason, 21-year old cats don't like flash photography. :P Also, all cats have Psionic Charm. It's simply part of their existence. I don't know what the errata does not reflect this. |
| Talisman09-04-07, 11:36 PM | I don't know what the errata does not reflect this. My theory is that the game designers, all being cat owners, were not allowed by their masters to reveal any of the secret powers of the feline race. |

See my sisters a Vetrinarian and I was visiting her onetime when they were declawing her friend's cat jasmine (Aka advanced fiendish hell cat of doom) yeah there were some bloody arms there, BTW Disembodied cat claws look remarkably like cocktail shrimp. (the claw parts the tail, the pinkish bone digit is the body) Sounds like you might actually have an adventure or two in ya Callista. Well when your faceing the zombie hordes remember shootem in the head! :D Yeah I bet even the idiot jocks are experts, all those ranks in run, jump, bluff(for coning women, the jerks), and having a few left over for knowledge so they can squeek by in some of their classes.:P Yeah commoners are the people we talk about when we refer to the unwashed masses.... also rednecks and hillbillys. My family has rednecks in it, I can say stuff like that. |

| UnrelentingHoror09-06-07, 04:11 AM | Fluffy in Action: The Mean Kitty Song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qit3ALTelOo) (Not my cat, but sure reminds me of him.) That was awesome enough to make me overlook my general disdain of fauxhawks. Besides the dudes Fauxhawk wasn't THAT obnoxious.... |
| UnrelentingHoror09-06-07, 04:27 AM | This is what I came up with for fluffy, unfortunately i couldn't think of anything more clever lol. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb219/Creepshow_02/Gargoylecat2.jpg |
| ChocolateJesus09-06-07, 03:26 PM | this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eht-kEzq88w) is just too awesome not to share. |
| Callista09-06-07, 03:32 PM | Serves that guy right! The cat didn't want to be petted or held... and he just kept right on doing it! Some people can't speak Feline to save their lives (or their progeny, apparently)! |
| tryco09-06-07, 04:28 PM | man, i've seen that movie so many times, but it's still funny. you can just feel that man's pain. |

| ArgulFraster09-09-07, 12:59 AM | this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eht-kEzq88w) is just too awesome not to share. Lolz @ that. But I gotta say the Mean Kitty Song still wins. |

Most people are Ordinaries though, in which case a Charismatic/Smart/Dedicated Hero would totally get wasted. I mean c'mon, you have an Urban Arcana icon! |

| Simrobert200109-15-07, 09:25 AM | hehehe. This thread is great. I only wish that I could make pictures like those. |
| bhu09-16-07, 04:17 AM | All you need is Irfanview or a similar free program. Its not hard to do once you see how. |
| Xiuhcoatl09-16-07, 07:43 AM | Paint is fully capable of rendering the required things to make such pictures. |
| ArgulFraster09-25-07, 11:33 PM | Bump in hopes of funny. |
| bhu09-26-07, 03:22 AM | Bump in hopes of funny. 3 Cats, a Ninja, and a Cleric of Pelor walk into a bar... |
| ArgulFraster09-26-07, 01:00 PM | 3 Cats, a Ninja, and a Cleric of Pelor walk into a bar... Then the cats pwn the ninja. Because they're awesome like that. |
| Xiuhcoatl09-26-07, 04:06 PM | I'm told that the first Ninja were taught by cats. |
| turalisj09-26-07, 05:58 PM | Then the cats pwn the ninja. Because they're awesome like that. Then the cleric of Pelor (who is really a cleric of Olidarrama) raises the ninja and buffs him, who then pwns the cats. Because ninja are awesome like that. |
| ArgulFraster09-26-07, 06:03 PM | Then Erentei invokes the Monster of Legend template on the cats, followed by the Erentei-Touched template, and the Cats of Legend sort of pwn the Cleric of Pelor's face, the Ninja's face, and the Tarrasque's face. Cuz they're still awesome. |
