3.5 Gem Dragon Stats [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-21-04, 04:57 PM I was curious if there are updated stats for the Gem Dragons found in the Monster Manual II that have been updated using the XPH anywhere.

05-21-04, 05:50 PM No, not yet. There's a similar thread (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?threadid=222885) at the Psionics Handbook (http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=30) forum, where I also posted. Basically, the gem dragon stats were released as follows:

Psionics Handbook Web Enhancement: the first 3.0 stats
Monster Manual II: changes to the subtypes of some dragons made
Mind's Eye, Legend of Sardior: renegade obsidian dragons introduced.
Monster Manual II 3.5 update: fire resistance 15, class skills, planar travel, CR increases noted. Note that only these changes were listed, not the whole stats. This did not include 3.5 psionics as the XPH wasn't out yet.

As of this writing, there's official no word on when the gem dragons would be updated to full 3.5 stats, including psionic abilites. Two things are certain though: psionic combat and MAD (multiple ability dependency) are gone.

05-23-04, 08:42 PM Well I would bet that they are still in the process of converting the stats for the Gem Dragons.
The XPH is still fairly new I'm sure they are still trying to playtest the stats.
