| Phydorex08-02-06, 10:51 AM | A couple days ago in our campaign we encountered some Ghouls. I was curious exactly what a CHA based save is? In the Entry for them in the 3.5 book instead of a fortitude save to avoid their paralysis and the ghoul spawn, you have to make a CHA based save. This makes absolutely no sense, can someone explain this to me? I don't have a copy of the 3.5 manual or I would put exactly what it says down, but I found the inclusion of CHA in a save vs a ghouls touch to be pretty weird. Herlp! |
| Glimm08-02-06, 11:08 AM | The save is a normal Fortitude saving throw based on Constitution. The note means that the saving throw DC is based on the ghoul's Charisma, so a ghoul with increased Charisma has a touch that is harder to resist. |

Herlp! you make a fort save as normal. all this means is that in calculating the save DC you have to make, they used the Ghoul's Cha modifier (since it has no Con modifier) |
