09-11-03, 04:38 PM Is Beholder missing out of the SRD?

I have looked through it, but cannot find it.

If it was not meant to be included, do you know why?

09-11-03, 04:46 PM The Beholder is not available because it is considered "property" of Wizards and thus not Open gaming content.

Anyway, some monsters that are archetypal to D&D, rather than being archetypal to fantasy, have been left out of the SRD as Intellectual Property of WotC.

The list includes:

Beholder
Carrion Crawler
Displacer Beast
Gauth
Kuo-toa
Mind-flayer
Slaad (All: Red, Blue, Green, Gray and Death)
Umber Hulk
Yuan-ti

Also, the subtypes "baatezu" and "tanar'ri' have been removed, the associated traits are instead listed every time.
