OK, I checked the first 10 pages and didn't see these questions addressed.

First, the DR is 15/bludgeoning and magic. Does that mean all bludgeoning weapons and all magical weapons overcome it OR does it mean that only a magical bludgeoning weapon overcomes it?

Second, does the phylactery resonate an evil aura or just a magical one? Would the phylactery show up with the use of detect evil or just detect magic?

Thanks for the time.

1) DR 15/Bludgeoning and magic means that only bludgeoning weapons with a +1 or higher enhancement can affect it (like a +1 warhammer). A non-magical club or a magical sword both fail to penetrate the DR.

2) The SRD doesn't say anything about the phylactery radiating any evil aura (nor does it state that it radiates any specific type of magic, like necromancy or transmutation). With that in mind, I think it's safe to assume that detect evil will not detect anything from a phylactery. The only grey area is that the Phylactery contains the lich's life force. I guess it's up to you to determine whether or not the lifeforce will produce a detectable alignment.

I suppose you could reason that it radiates evil, only when the Lich's soul is inside the phylactery (when the Lich has no body)
