A few construct questions. [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-08-06, 12:31 PM Hello, I have a few questions concerning constructs.

1) Can a construct gain benefits to abilities (or anything) by wearing an item?

2) How can you determine the Level Adjustment for a construct that has been the subject of the "Awaken Construct" spell? (Especially the bogun from Beget Bogun spell in Spell Compendium)

01-08-06, 12:48 PM 1. Yes, but it only works with items that are contineous, because the golem (or other construct with int -) lacks the ability to activate an item that requires activation, if the golem or other construct has or gains an intellligence score it can use magic items normaly.

2. In most cases you just have to sit down and figure it out yourself, Savage Species gives guidelines as to how to do so.

01-08-06, 12:56 PM Thanks, but I was under the impression that Savage Species wasn't 3.5 material, so I don't know exactly how to go about figuring it all out. I also don't even have SS, so outside help is appreciated. Thanks alot for clearing up my first question! ^_^

01-08-06, 02:39 PM 3.5 or not (it isn't) SS is the only place where the designers tell you how to figure out level adjustments. ::Shrug::
