Hello,

I choose a Quasit as my familiar (my character is a 10 level spell caster) ...

1°) Does a demon/familiar need to eat, drink, sleep ???

2°) He got 10 HD. When he use his (Su) "Alternate Form" to assume a Wolf form,
what will be the size of the Wolf ???

I explain : The "(Su) Alternate Form" (MM pg 46) says he can assume only form no larger than Medium but when you check the wolf's advancement (MM pg 283), it indicates the following : 3HD (Medium) // 4-6HD (Large) ...

So what does he finally look like ??? a Medium or Large Wolf ???

From the SRD: "Outsiders breathe, but do not need to eat or sleep (although they can do so if they wish). Native outsiders breathe, eat, and sleep. "

Quasits are outsiders and so it needs to breathe but does not need to eat or sleep. It is also subject to Planar Banishment (See SRD) as well as a banishment spell. That's the one drawback to having a quasit as a familar.

A quasit can only appear as a Medium wolf not a Large wolf.
