I need a small 4 armed ant like race, does anyone know of one? The Xill almost fit the bill and altering them is an option, but I was hoping someone might have a link or could post some stats of a monster race that fits.

If no one does then I would like some help altering the Xill. Obviously adjusting their size is easy, the trouble comes from their special abilities. I was thinking of taking away their planewalker, implant and paralysis abilities and in return giving them a burrowing speed and the spell like ability to use move earth and sculpt stone 3 times per day. I would like to keep them at around a CR of 4-7 though.

The reason why I'm removing the implant and paralysis abilities is because instead of planting eggs in helpless creatures. They will have a queen who lays eggs, which will be tended to and when they hatch they'll go through a couple different stages before becoming the four armed humaniod like creatures of their final form. One of those stages will be as basically giant ants, which is why the ant like part is necessary.

So does anyone have any Ideas?

look into modifying the Formians, seen >HERE< (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/formian.htm). Add an extra set of arms, and go from there. :)

Im not sure which mm they reprinted them in but you could alter the Tri-keen (sp?) though they are more along the lines of mantis type creatures

4 armed Formians would be interesting and they fit well with the whole Ant theme, but my players are level 11 and although they have amazing stats and much higher than standard wealth, I doubt that they could take a queen and they would have to take her out because of the mission they were given. Most of the Characters are Chaotic and Dictum at will would take out one of them at the start of the battle. Then black tentacles followed by cone of cold and then slow on the survivors to keep them pinned down while the rest of her hive come charging in to save her would lead to a TPK. This is especially true since she has prismatic wall and wall of force to buy her time just in case. I would have to drop her down to at least CR 15, probably more like CR 13 because of all her minions. I know they have rules about advancing monsters, but do they have rules on regressing them?

Savage Species's monster classes can be used to regress a monster, but unfortunately it doesn't have a formian queen...I guess you could build a formian queen monster class and use that to regress her, but that seems like a lot of work.

The formian queen cannot move. With her telepathic abilities, though, she can send instructions to and get reports from any formian within her range. She is about 10 feet long, perhaps 4 feet high, and weighs about 3,500 pounds. The queen speaks Formian and Common, although she can communicate with any creature telepathically.

Combat
The queen does not fight. She has no ability to move. If necessary, a team of workers and myrmarchs (or dominated slaves) haul her enormous bulk to where she needs to go. This sort of occurrence is very rare, however, and most of the time the queen remains within her well-defended chambers.

Despite her utter lack of physical activity, the queen can cast spells and use spell-like abilities to great effect in her own defense as well as the defense of the hive-city.

Spells: The queen casts divine spells as a 10th-level druid. Typical Druid Spells Known (6/5/5/4/4/3, base save DC 15 + spell level).

Spell-Like Abilities: At will—calm emotions (DC 17), charm monster (DC 19), clairaudience/clairvoyance, detect thoughts, divination, hold monster (DC 20), true seeing. Caster level 15th. The save DCs are Charisma-based.
Telepathy (Su):The queen can communicate telepathically with any intelligent creature within 50 miles whose presence she is aware of. Does that work better for you? :)

Thri-Kreen can be found in Expanded Psionics Handbook, they're actually a playable race.
