09-27-06, 05:09 AM		Just a little peeve regarding this article (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/alumni/20060927a) where it mentions earlier monsters now absent from the 3rd Edition Monster Manual:

Both shriekers and violet fungi were nowhere to be seen, and the trapper fell to extinction.

While I could be mistaken, or possibly insane, I see both of the funky fungi in the 3.0 and 3.5 versions of my Monster Manual.
