a question about monsters with claws [Archive] - Wizards Community

When it says in the monster manual attack
for example 2 claws melee +10 (1d6+4) does it mean
that the monster attack with eack claw for a total of 2d6+8?

It means the creature has two claw attacks. Each claw attack is rolled seperately (1d20, +10 in this case) and deals 1d6+4.
