A quick question , A little help? [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-13-04, 01:03 PM Ok, I`m curious whether or not there is a resource that gives a list of Monsters by location/type. IE encounter tables, from the MM 1-2-3 and FF or know where i can find those tables in the books (since i can`t seem to).

Example..characters are traversing through a forest and i wish to find all creatures that may or may not exist in forest terrain.

Wait a day or two before bumping, you might get something of value.

Also, try formating your posts into a readable form.

also it is a bad idea to ask people for help and then insult a person who comes along and offers some constuctive advice on the formatting and expected response time of your question... it makes it so that people will be less inclined to try to help you in the future.

I`m used to dealing with bad attitudes.

I also can`t help but feel a bit frustrated relearning the new system.
Hence the call for help, which I`m not used to doing.

Try the DMs Guide. It has encounter tables by environment, which is the type of area you would find them in. Might help. Good luck.

yep that will work for what i needed. I found the dungeon encounter tables a few days ago and just wasn`t going to work.
