Um...yeah, this is basically my first home-brewed monster, so go easy on me, I find monster building a bit hard since I'm new at it, but here goes:

This creature is biped, stands around 16 ft. tall and is composed of smooth stone. It has two arms and two legs attached to its torso and a head on top with no facial features besides two glowing red eyes.

Combat:
The creature uses a bull-rush attack to drive an enemy near a stone wall, then grapples and then uses its Stonemeld ability.

Stonemeld (Su):
This ability is similar to the Meld into Stone spell except that it can take one other living creature (and all of its gear) with it into the stone. The creature can not be larger than large sized.
This ability can only be used on other creatures if this creature succeeds in grappleing and then pinning the victim. The victim also need to be standing next to a stone, stone wall or stone underground large enough to support the creatures as described in the spell.
When inside the stone with another creature the defender is still pinned. The unfortunate creature to come along into the stones can not exit by himself. He must wait for this creature to be expelled or exits willingly. The victim gets a fortitude save in order to avoid the stonemeld DC 10 + ½ creatures HD + Con modifier + Ability Focus = 20

Creatures who need air begin to suffocate in the Stone Stalkers turn when it activates its Stonemeld ability

A Stone Stalker recieves a +8 racial bonus to hide checks in underground rocky environments.

EDIT:
13/07:
Changed the layout so it looks more smooth
Removed some type-O's
14/07:
Changed alignment from CE to N
Reduced the dex from 15 to 9
Reduced speed from 40 to 20
30/11:
Clarified the text a bit
10/12:
Updated the beastie to 3.5 and gave it a name
05/01:
Gave it Ability Focus (stonemeld) as its third and last feat
Upped the CR to 6

hmm, interesting. Might work well for my campaign.
Something that bother me:
Creatures of earth are rarely dexterious creatures, and the high speed and apparent Dex bonus seem like a little to much.

AS for names, how about Tieris, Thundar, or some slight variation.

I can imagine the characters of an underground expedition dissapearing one by one, "swallowed" by strange arms comming out of the walls. Certainly enjoyable.

Overall, it seems a good candidate for a CR 4. I would advice changing it' alignment to Neutral, or something less extreme than Chaotic-Evil, however.

What was I thinking? I wanted it to be a tad dexterious, because they're inspired from the movie Tomb Raider - Cradle of Life but when they're not fast, they'll just do it at a short distance.

The names? Hmm...not that crazy 'bout 'em, maybe something around lurker or something with dark or "under" or something. I'm drawing blanks here.

I believe you're right, basically what it does is feeding on the victims inside the stone after they're dead, but they make fine underground/cave guardians. I change the alignment and chalked down your CR proposal. I have NO idea about CR'ing so I need all the help I can get.

I basically took a large earth elemental, rearranged the skills and feats and gave it the improved grap and stonemeld ability instead. Gave it an CR of 6 beacuse of the added stonemeld ability.
