The planar books and such all end in half refereces to their old huants and little else. I saw the Greek reference to Cronos on the prison plane and little else. On Arborea the plane they are supposed to inhabit they appear to have either been wiped out or left for even greener pastures? They are great villians for high level play but seem under utilized. Anything would be helpful. Thank you in advance. |

But as far as within DnD... 3e doesn't really touch the topic, but 2e does in: Planes of Conflict details the Greek Titans in their exile on Carceri. Vortex of Madness goes into some further depth on the titans of Othrys and a few of the lesser ones. Dead Gods has some material on the ruins on Arborea's third layer. There have also been the legends and rumors of a race of titans or 'titan-like' beings who once populated the now desolate and wasted layer of Pelion/Mithardir on Arborea. What happened to them, their ultimate fate, and if they have any connection with current titans, or the titans in Carceri, is up for debate and is not a settled question. I've always tended to have the 'titans' of Pelion as the progenitor race of CG celestials, destroyed in some early calamity, fled into exile on the Infinite Staircase to flee some evil persuing them, or abandoned the multiverse after creating the Eladrin. All speculation of course. |
