A vampire's damage reduction [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-25-04, 09:44 AM I read that it takes a weapon that is both magic AND made of silver to pass through a vampire's damage reduction.
Is this an miss print? Should it be magic OR silver? If not, it's a very powerful damage reduction.
I haven't read any errata about the vampire. Maybe I missed something.

03-25-04, 10:37 AM nope, no missprint it takes a magical silver weapon to bypass the vampires DR. (Vampire spawn on the other hand only require normal silver).
