HI, I've been trying to make a Platinum Dragon, but I can't think of any good abilities for it. It's a NG metallic dragon and is stronger than the gold dragon. Does anyone have any ideas?

The platinum dragon is actually Bahamut, and it's a one of a kind.

There's the NG adamantine dragon, though I know nothing of it - not even its breath weapon.

Bahamut was once one of many platinum dragons, but all of them died exept for him, so in theory....

What? Io created Bahamut, along with Tiamat and Vorel. So how could he have been one of many platinum dragons?

Where the hell did you here this theory?

Yes I forgot that Bahamut is the Platinum dragon. The problem is that I don't use the standard D&D gods, and Bahamut doesn't exist in my world. So the spot is open.

Why not use bahamut as a base for all your platinum dragons?

Does Bahamut have specific abilities that a regular draon would get? If he does, then I will definately. Thanks for the idea.

If you're just going to use "a" Platinum Dragon, then buy Dragon Magic and look at the creature: Aspect of Bahamut. Then advance the HD until it's as powerful as you wish it to be and just called it a Platinum Dragon. If you're wanting more than one, and of varrious ages (like a True Dragon) then you're got a lot more work cut out for you.

That aspect has fewer abilities than the abilities of Bahamut as statted in either Manual of the Planes or Deities and Demigods. The Miniatures Handbook aspect has only the cold breath weapon, IIRC, lacking the gaseous form and disintegration breath weapons.

And unless the link is expired (I googled it ages ago), the platinum dragon species of Draelor is fully statted out. If it's gone I think can re-post it here because I saved it and the author said that the stats by themselves are OGC. He's the same guy who created the greater dragon turtle with 12 age categories (Aeolius would have wanted this, I'd guess, as he's been agitating for dragon turtles as true dragons).

I was thinking of Platinum True Dragon.
