| Secrets Untold12-28-05, 09:45 PM | I need ideas for special abilities that noone will expect in my campain. Seagoers and undead are in great need for me. |
| Khael12-28-05, 09:47 PM | Drowned ones sound about right then. Drowned undead with a drowning aura. Their from the MM 3 |
| Secrets Untold12-28-05, 09:50 PM | Custom Abilities. |
| Khael12-28-05, 09:57 PM | Aura of retribution, basically if they get hit with damage they throw it all back at every enemy/everyone(pick when you build the creature), gives a reflex save for half, 30ft radius. Makes an evil surprise for a fighter to get hit with his own heavy attack damage Of course the irony is if your players are on these boards this is giving it away somewhat... |
| Ogre4Hire12-28-05, 10:20 PM | Radiation Damage. Fire damage that also poisons the target for Con damage (Fortitude save negs the Con damage, as per normal poison effects). |
| Dex12-29-05, 02:24 AM | Here's some: Raise Water: Sea level increases by 5ft/creature's HD in a 500ft radius, multiple creatures don't raise it furthur. Soulburst: When undead slain, its soul explodes (1d4 damage/HD in a 5ft radius/HD) Reanimating aura: Any dead creature in a 5ft/HD radius is animated as a type of undead (you choose or random) A Creature of Parts: when it takes 20% of its hp in damage, a part (arm, leg etc) breaks off and attacks as an animated object of its size (probly small). Waiting Souls: When the undead is slain, roll a 1d4. on anything but a 1 it is reanimated with full stats. If it was not killed with hp damage, do not use this ability. Need Breath: All creatures in 5ft radius/HD must make a will save (DC 10+cha+1/2 HD) or immeiately head for the surface as they are overcome with teh need to breathe fresh air. or most evil of all, happened to our party: Reflect Turning: When a cleric attempts to turn this undead, treat the result as the undead turning the cleric. My DM made it NO SAVE, which was crap. We said so, and he relented to make it a DC 20 will save to resist. |
