Anyone think this creature is a "little" overpowered? 16hd, +8 int, +18 to hit, 2d10+7 dmg, 22 SR, and it can cast disintigrate, implosion and disjuction at will? and this is suppost to be a CR 9 monster?? Also how can it cast level 9 spells with only caster level 14?

It's more than a little overpowered.

Simply giving it Disjunction was bad enough (did they even test that monster?), but I don't see how it's damage is overpowered. A 9th-level PC fighter can put out damage like that quite easily without iteratives, and since the horror doesn't come with a whole lot of magic items... A 9th-level fighter can have a similar attack bonus as well... not quite as high, but he does get that iterative.

The save DCs are over-the-top for a creature of it's CR, IMO.

As for it's spellcasting ability, that's been repeated many a time. It really doesn't mean much, assuming it's been tested.
