Adamantine golem, Mithral golem... Cold Iron golem? [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-15-06, 02:25 PM Knowing that the Epic book contains Adamantine and Mithral golems, and given the vast number of diferent types made so far (mud???), does such a thing as a Cold Iron golem exist anywhere, in book form or on the web?

01-15-06, 02:29 PM I don't imagine it'd be very different from a normal Iron Golem. Give its weapons the ability to bypass appropriate damage reductions, perhaps buff it up a little bit to represent cold iron being a generally higher metal... and that's it.

01-15-06, 06:05 PM Probably make the construction more expensive, as Cold Iron is very difficult to work magic on, same sort of thing is seen when you make magic items out of Cold Iron.

I'm looking forward to a Baatorian Green Steel golem myself :)
