| Rntaboy09-27-04, 08:59 PM | I'm planning on making a PC who is half-human, half-dragon. I have two questions about doing this. 1. Since I am adding a template to a human, do I get the extra skill points and feat at level one that a human usually gets? 2. The Half-Dragon is listed as having his "claws" as his primary weapons, does that mean that if I attack with both of his claws, I do not take a hit to the attack bonus? Any help would be great. |

Also you don't gain any additional attacks for high BAB. |
| Rntaboy09-27-04, 10:58 PM | A Half-dragon gives a +3 Level Adjustment. So a Half-dragon will need always need 10000 exp points more exp points than a PC with no level adjustment to attain the same level, correct? I think this is how it works, but it seems that the downside of having a Level adjustment becomes really trivial at high levels. Am I correct? |

| TheGreenGriffon09-28-04, 03:10 PM | Yes you are basically correct. The character pays the same aount of experience for a lower level. a game which allows for 5th level characters would allow you to bring in a Half Dragon PC with 2 class levels. |
| Sacul Kamadaka09-28-04, 03:32 PM | You would take 3 levels of half-dragon to "pay off" the LA. |
