04-18-06, 09:39 PM Can anyone be so kind as to list where I can get Avian creatures (in which books) with 10HD and higher? We did a little bit of tweaking to the Sentinel of Bharrai class and transformed it into 'Sentinel of Aerdrie' class. So now instead of transforming into Bears, the character transforms into any non-magical bird.

For example; the Quetzocoatlus from Monster Manual II.

There is the 18 HD Roc in the MM
Some of the Legendary Animals in the MMII should be 10+HD.
Really, I think that's about it for animals.

For below 10 HD there is:
Pterodactyl (Eberron, Serpent Kingdoms)
Dire Hawk (Races of Stone)
Dire Eagle (Races of the Wild)

All of that is off the top of my head.

04-19-06, 05:48 PM Can someone give me some tips then on what exactly changes as an animal advances. Can you please point to where in the Monster manual where it lists the damage a gargantuan eagle's (for the sake of the argument) beak would do.
