| Jandar the Druid11-17-05, 04:28 PM | I've been wondering about how to calculate the attack bonus on a Sword Spider's (Monsters of Faerūn) Impalement special attack when you increase it's hit dice. What's the attack bonus on this attack for a 9hd spider? And: Is there any 3.5 version of this spider, besides the updates in the PGtF web enhancement? |

I know it's strength, and it's size. A normal sword spider: BAB: +3, Strength bonus: +4, size: Large (-1 attack bonus). Impalement attack bonus: +5 (I don't know how this number is figured out). My spider: BAB +6, Strength bonus: +6, Size: Large: (-1 attack bonus), Impalement attack bonus +?. |
