when adding classes into a specific monster, does the 1st level in that class grants me a feat? say if i add 1 level of sorcere into a montrous humanoid of 3 HD, would he have 2 feats? One for his 1st HD, an another for his 1st character level?

only the 1st hd (usually a specific class) gives you a bonus feat... every 3 hit die and/or classes give you an additional feat. to determine the amount of bonus feats, think of the monster hit die as actual levels.

for example.... a 2nd level sorcerer with 3 HD in, say Leapard (my fav for lycans) will yield a total of 5 HD (ecl, effective character levels)
.... 1 feat for 1st level, and another for 3rd level/HD........
and upon next level, whether its in sorcerer or an additional monster HD, you'd gain another feat, because you'd have accumulated 6 hit die.

you dont gain one for your first hit die and one for your first level... they're both the same for gaining feats and determining which skills get the (x4)....

you're first level sorcerer has a hit die of d4.. think of that as a HD, and then your monstrous humanoid has a hit die of d8, iirc. with 1d4 and 3d8, thats 4 HD (equal to a level 4 character)

sry if ive confused you... im still waking up

A good rule of thumb to keep in mind is that all those "first level benefits" that player-characters get (a feat, x4 skill points, max hit points, et al) apply to your first hit die. "Level" and "Hit Dice" are almost interchangeable; one simply exists because it's much more appropriate to say "I'm an 11th-level wizard" instead of "I'm an 11 Hit Dice human spellcaster."
