Slagger the Chuul 08-16-07, 03:49 AM	It depends on the creature type. It's grouped by the quality of features (BAB, saves, skill points, and Hit Die size) for the creature's Hit Dice. The Challenge Rating of aberrations, constructs, elementals, fey, giants, humanoids, oozes, plants, undead, and vermin increases by +1 for every 4 additional Hit Dice. The Challenge Rating of animals, magical beasts, and monstrous humanoids increases by +1 for every 3 additional Hit Dice. The Challenge Rating of dragons and outsiders increases by +1 for every 2 additional Hit Dice.
