| Emir04-05-05, 09:56 AM | I'm having a problem with advancing the ordinary wolf to 4 HD. I have a Druid who's gonna be lvl 3 soon and he'll be having a 4 HD Wolf. Which means a Large Wolf, But I've checked out the Improvibf Monster section about this. And it apperently says that, when a meduim sized wolf goes to large sized wolf, it gains +8 Str, -2 Dex, +4 Con, +2 natural !! But that seems a bit friggin' overpowering for a Animal Companion at the lvl 3, where the Animal Companion (Large Wolf) seems to be the strongest 'guy' in the party. Plus, the animal is tehnicaly 1,66 CR. I'm prolly missing something here.\ plz help |

It was kind of stupid in 3.0 rules where you could get Huge animals at the higher levels, but you couldn't take them into a lot of places where you wanted to go because they wouldn't fit through the door. |
