2.Assume he doesn't know, then transforms during the full moon and kills everyone he loves. Is he still a paladin?

4. Further assuming he COULD transform, would he be able to smite evil whilst transformed?

Well, a paladin of 3rd level of higher is immune to lycanthropy, but assuming we're talking a level 1 or 2 paladin, I would say yes, until/unless he actually goes evil (a werebear paladin oughtn't have any problems, since werebears are usually LG).

No.

Yikes. This guy just killed everyone he loves, and then he's worrying about transforming? I'd say no in general, and especially no if he didn't fall from mass murder.

Yes.

05-01-07, 04:31 AM My opinion : depends entirely on his deity. Some form of penance maybe required once he becomes aware of what he done (pieces of people everywhere).
