And a single balor could kill Jubilex alone? What the hell? I understand that the demonlords have qualities that make them good leaders, but the only reason they rule is that they hold their titles by sheer power alone against every other demon in existence, that's a major part of the Abyss' personality. Did they not think these things through? |
| Kenzuki07-11-06, 10:17 PM | One of the writers stated that these were ment to represent greater aspects or avatars of the Abyssal Lords upon the Prime Material Plane, that was part was however omitted from the final print. |
| Watchdog_of_Hades07-11-06, 10:28 PM | I, too, assume that these are mere incarnations of the demon lords, slightly more concentrated spots of their power in a layer where the air is permeated with it. If you were to channel all of a demon lord's unspeakable evil and malevolence into a single form, it would be unimaginably powerful. In my campaign, at least. P.S.: Demogorgon is Power, with a capital P. If you have the BoVD, use the un-nerfed version. |
